I think that’s a browser problem.

Try clearing your cache and cookies, disable any pop-up or ad blockers, or try an anonymous browser session.

Have you had problems like this previously? If not, have you changed anything about your network setup? E.g. you’re now working from school or the office when before you were working from home? Or you are using a different computer or a different browser?

There are a couple of possibilities:

  1. There is some kind of “bad weather” on the network someplace between your browser and the Coursera servers. Or the servers are overloaded or the like.
  2. Something about your browser config is blocking some of the URLs. It could be just browser settings (missing some plug-ins?), A/V software on your computer, or maybe some firewall or security software on your LAN.

I assume you’ve tried doing “Refresh” a couple of times. If that doesn’t help and you’re sure nothing has changed about your network setup, then maybe the best thing to do is go get something to eat or go for a walk and come back and try again in an hour.

Restarting my computer solved the problem.

@amyfurey04 – That’s what you get when you are around a bunch of guys that don’t work at Best Buy (i.e. “Have you tried unplugging it ? etc”). :grin:

(and don’t worry, that’s a good thing for what we are studying here…)

Well, I thought about suggesting the “logout and log back in again” trick. But forgot about the “therapeutic reboot” :laughing:. Always worth a try.
