Week 2, Graded Assignment: Glue job fails, not enough permissions

Hi! My Glue jobs fail and complain about not having enough permissions:

“An error occurred while calling o138.pyWriteDynamicFrame. Insufficient Lake Formation permission(s) on dim_customers (Service: AWSGlue; Status Code: 400; Error Code: AccessDeniedException; Request ID: c23bc428-d1b9-4290-8235-ac1e0a516d5f; Proxy: 169.254.76.0)”

How can I solve it, given I have no access to IAM?

Thank you for the answer! But I still have the same problem. I filled the suggested form although it did not look relevant. Very unpleasant, because I cannot submit the assignment.

I tried to go through the assignement like 5 times at least on 3 different days, it still does not work.

Yes, I understand it is unpleasant to sit and wait for the lab to be refreshed. In your case I suggest waiting a few more days since it is a manual process performed by the engineers. If it continues we could contact some staff @esanina and have a look at your lab issue. Thanks

G’day team - just noting that I’ve got the same problem. I’ve already filled in the form linked earlier but just posting here in case there’s been any other alternatives since the last few comments. Thanks, I’ll check again in a few days.

I think there are not much to do other than wait. It’s good you already filled the form and it should take a couple more days for the engineer to refresh your lab. Hope it helps

Sorry for the inconvenience, I am not sure about the issue you have. I am guessing your glue job fails and you wait for a lab refresh more than one week. I think this process is performed manually by a staff @esanina and since it happens in the weekend you probably have to wait tomorrow. Thanks

@asdfero all account for which there were submissions via the form have been refreshed so far. With which lab do you have problems?
