What is the criteria for completing the course?

I’ve run all the modules, but the optional Google Cloud Setup one, which gives me an error when I try to enable the APIs. I am running this on a copy of the notebook from my local machine as instructed.

Service(s) not found or permission denied

Not found or permission denied for one or more service(s). Please ensure that the service names are accurate and confirm your permissions to enable those APIs before you try again.

Anyway, given this is an optional step, it should not be required for couse completion. So… what am I missing to complete the course?

Hi @Guillermo_Ramhorst

Welcome to the community.

In order to run locally you have to setup your own envirioment by your own. That mean that you must use your own API credentials

Hi @Guillermo_Ramhorst,

There’s no “completion” notification as such for the short courses, no certificates. Completing the course would mean you have gone through every lesson.

Ok. Thank you for the clarification.

Thanks for your answer. However how is this completed? Is there an integration or something similar? Please check the lesson as it is a “lab” to activate GCP environment with APIs and Billing, so it has to be done under yuor own credentials. The course appears unfinished.

Hi @Guillermo_Ramhorst,

Could you specify which lab you are talking about ? I’l take a look.

Best,

Sure, it is the Google Cloud Setup lab, which is an optional lab. This on the RLHF Short Course.

Hello Guillermo! Thank you for question!
Actually, Google Cloud Setup is optional in case you haven’t set up locally in another short course (this one for example!).
The main goal of this lesson: Google Cloud Setup (optional) is to have the environment set locally and also understand/create your buckets for having your dataset (dataset for training/testing Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback (RLHF)).
Having the environment ready to use Google Cloud will help you test RLHF with some dataset from your preference.
