I am 2. year Computer Engineering Student who wants to specialise in ML, I completed first 2 courses of Machine Learning specilisation. However, I don’t feel that I have enough foundation. I just took notes, and understand the labs. I didn’t do anything such like a project or writing my own code or doing sth practical. I don’t know where to start. Can you give me some advice please? Also I have github copilot as a student which provides 3 month free trial to datacamp which has ML projects tasks to complete. Is it useful? Thank you.
I am also learning AI, I have a couple of months on it. I also felt like you, and asked myself the same question. The answer I came up with was to focus on making as many projects as I can. My though process was, if I get a job in the field, I am going to be making projects anyways, so why not get good at it now. Also there is a big difference between learning the theory and actually applying the knowledge, so making projects is also a way of learning the concepts a bit deeper.
Dear @the_data_dj,
Welcome to the Community.
I am not clear about your post.
But making project required the knowledge, for knowledge you to study first.
Welcome to the community.
Maybe this roadmap could help you to track your learning journey.
I hope this help.
Thanks. Oh yeah, of course. I meant that once you have the knowledge your next steps you be to make projects, lots of them.
Yes. I am agree with you.
Thanks
