Advice related to algebra Khan Academy

Good day everyone,
I am a beginner who joined this course today(09/05/2023). During the intro, the instructor suggested reviewing algebra from khan academy(Which is around 6 hours of material even on youtube) for better understanding but did not mention how much or what topics to check. If anyone can guide me in this regarding how much or what topics to cover I would greatly appreciate it.

I haven’t looked at the Kahn Academy course, but the topics you need are probably called “linear algebra” or maybe “vectors and matrices”.

@Eswarkumar_peddinti The Khan Academy course might be a nice supplement, but if you suffer through Serrano’s Linear Algebra Coursera course and all the apples and the bananas, you should be fine.

No problems. I will add something though. Do visit the Khan Academy lectures on Vector Basis and Span when you get to that part in Week 4 of Linear Algebra on Coursera. Khan does a tremendous job of really explaining what Vector Span and Basis mean, wheras I found Luis Serrano’s treatment of Span and Basis very perfunctory…as if he does not understand the subject well, or was not willing to put the effort into explaining it. @Eswarkumar_peddinti
