AWS Sagemaker Jupyter Lab Not Spawning Week1 Lab

Hi,

I was able to deploy the Sagemaker instance but unable to deploy the Jupyterlab. Rarely it spawns a session, once it spawns I am still unable to access the terminal. Any leads on how to solve this issue are highly appreciated.

Hi Gent. Thanks for flagging. The learner is on Coursera. The DLAI platform doesn’t use Vocareum.

Hi Rithvik. Were you able to follow each of the steps in the Vocareum page exactly as shown (i.e. the page that opens up when you click Launch App on Coursera). The culprit is usually a missed step there. If so, can you try clicking Clear Workspace there? I remember seeing that popup before and that usually resolves it. Hope it works!

Thank you for looking at this. After 30 to 45 minutes, the terminal started working and I was able to work on the lab and submit it. Looks like the Vocareum/AWS setup is a bit slow yesterday. Worth adding a note in the Vocareum steps that the terminal may not respond immediately.
