Start Lab fails - Week 1

Start Lab fails. Way more than 20 minutes
It just spins and fails to start the lab.

Unfortunately, I believe there is an issue with AWS right now. You can follow this thread and fill in the form in there: Account is deactivate when try to start 2nd week lab

I believe the Coursera team should be looking into it already.

I can’t open the labs for Lab 1 and Lab 2. I’ve accessed them twice in the past but forgot to download the notebooks. Now, when I try to open the labs, the indicator turns yellow and then immediately red. What should I do?

Did you already complete the course?

If so, you cannot access the labs.

I’m trying to complete Lab 1 for the session starting JAN22 2024. I start the lab, search for Sagemaker on AWS, and click on Sagemaker. But I am sent to an empty white screen. I cannot access Sagemaker, and I can’t complete the lab. Yet, my timer is still active. Any help?

I have the same issue. Have you solved it?

@hackyon Sorry for tagging, but I see that the previous question from Stephan hasn’t been addressed: the SageMaker page is blank. What could be wrong?

As far as I know, this issue has been fixed already.

works now in Chrome. Doesn’t work in Safari though

Problems with Safari are not unusual for these courses.

On Chrome, still not able to load lab. Start just hangs, counter begins, cannot click on AWS in upper right hand corner. Says it will take up to 20 minutes - so I lose 20 minutes to complete the lab. I paid for this course in order to get a certification… please help.

The original issue reported in this thread was two months ago, and was fixed.

If you’re having a new problem, it would be best to start a new thread. Course staff or a mentor for that course (which I am not) will be more likely to find it.
