I have completed the lab content of week 4 from course 1. When clicking the submit button, it continued not to be able to response with a grade. The notebook was upload to the S3 bucket.
After 2 hours later, I restarted the lab but all work and files in S3 were gone and the Sagemaker Studio would not start up. Try submitting directly also did not receive any response and no submission log was available.
To provide some more details: I’ve tried submitting with multiple browsers across two computers and do not receive an error - the submission appears to go through (I get a “submission recorded” message), the grading appears to be processing, but then I receive the same “Your assignment has not been graded yet.” result. The notebook has no errors; I’ve added no additional notebook cells and did not modify the notebook name.
Nope, originally I thought it was my account being the problem, as even after 4 h the account was not really deactivated (I seemed to have the same account number for a certain assignment every time I logged in, but would lose the previous work.)
Now that many people had this issue across different assignments and courses, I think it is due to some problem from the underlying lab server…This tool is indeed not great, it was also adopted in other AWS related courses and had issues before too.
Same issue for me. Went through lab #4 twice over the weekend and received same submission error/no grading. Restarted the lab today, copied up saved notebook from weekend attempt #2 and received 15/100, so though the notebook has outputs from the lab, it obviously must be verifying AWS artifacts.
Did lab third time today (Monday), saved notebook, submitted, and received 100/100. Third time’s a charm.
