I have restarted the lab on my side, but unfortunately I have not been able to reproduce the issue.
I agree with you that you should not provide any information about the billing account. This is NOT required to complete the lab.
Please double check the username/password inserted at the beginning.
In my case after enabling the AutoML API this is what I can see on my browser.
Please verify that the Google account in the the right corner of the window is like mine (student-…)
It sounds as if the logging procedure didn’t work well and you are using your own Google account.
