How will I know when the lab is refreshed? I just tried to start the lab, but it’s still broken.
I’m nearly finished with this course, and messing with this issue for days is really frustrating.
Hello again @SteveTarter
I’m sorry for the inconvenience you are experiencing. Please, wait for 3 days after you have submitted the form and try again.
Ironic, but practical. During the work week, it usually takes 24 hours (since the refresh is done manually by DLAI staff). It will take longer if the request falls over a weekend.
Is there any update to the lab refresh request I initiated 6 days ago? Is there a link where I can discover the status myself?
This is the last task between me and the data engineering certificate. Can someone please help me get past this?
Thank you so much for your patience. Our engineer looked into your account on our backend but was unable to find the related AWS account. I think this might be an issue unrelated to “account still in cleanup”.
@esanina@Cristian_M_Amaya do you know why this learner is getting a “failed to start the lab” message from Vocareum?
The lab is still broken.
It has been a full week since I first reported this. Please, someone, escalate this!
I’ve attached a screenshot of the failure message with Chrome DevTools that might help. (Note that I tried starting the lab twice, so the 504 error happened twice).
@SteveTarter we did refresh your lab account, could you please try again and let me know how it goes. We might have to pass this issue to the Vocareum engineering team.
I have the same problem with the “failed to start the lab” message. The lab refresh form in its three options doesn’t have this option, it says to start a thread here, but there’s this thread already! What should i do?
