I already tried clearing the cache, cookies, changing the browser, restarting the device, changing the device but my quiz never load.
Could you please help me escalate this issue? I’ve reached out to Coursera several times, but their customer service didn’t fully address my concerns and even left before I could finish describing the issue. I’m really struggling with this, and I believe escalating it to a higher level might help expedite a resolution.
I’ve gathered some commonalities about this problem: it usually occurs during the first test that cannot be passed and exceeds the system’s expected time.
Normally, manually “push to the end” would resolve the issue.
However, due to a bug on their server side, manually “push to the end” doesn’t solve the problem of the unfinished test.
I’ve seen many posts where people are waiting for the technical team to fix it, or where the issue resolves itself after the course expires and is restarted.
But my course end date is still far away, and I don’t want to wait.
Alternatively, let’s think outside the box. Instead of waiting for the bug to be fixed, they could manually unenroll and then reenroll.
This might solve the problem.
But I really can’t get in touch with their customer service. Please help me convey and escalate the issue.
Unfortunately we do not have an option to manually fix this as our engineers are already working on this to find a fix. Please know that we do not have an exact timeframe on when they can fix this. I tried to unenroll and re-enroll you but upon replicating the same issue occurs. As of the moment, we highly encourage you to wait with our engineers to fix this.
In the meantime, you may continue working on your other courses to avoid delays with your certification.
A gentle reminder that this ticket will now be closed since I have opened a new internal case for investigation with our engineering team to avoid this issue from happening again. If you still experience this issue after 14 days please let us know and we will look for the next best possible step to help you further. If you have other concerns aside from this please don’t hesitate to reach us. Thank you for your understanding.
Note that once you complete a course, you very rapidly lose access to any of the graded materials (the quizzes and programming assignments). That’s to be expected.
You’re wrong…
I also gave an example in my latest reply.
As long as it is within the validity period, the quiz can be accessed regardless of whether the course is completed or not.
Hi Elina! Thanks for the detailed report! I’ve forwarded your concern to Coursera last Monday and we’re still waiting for a reply. Will check this thread and add to the ticket. Thanks again!
Hi Elina. Coursera acknowledged receiving your account details but no resolution yet. Also forwarded your case to my colleague who’s monitoring this course. The team is definitely aware of the issue and is actively working with our partners to have this fixed asap. We will let you know as soon as we get updates.
As Chris mentioned earlier, we are trying to work with Coursera to find a solution to this issue which is being faced by not just you, some others as well. Even I cannot open several of the quizzes on my end, so I completely understand how frustrating this must be for you.
In order to help you better, I’m going to trouble you to provide me some details. If you are not comfortable sharing this here, feel free to send me a direct message.
Kindly share the following with me:
The email address you use for Coursera.
The links of the items where you are facing this
Thanks,
Mubsi
EDIT: Never mind Elina, Chris has shared your info with me.
I found a notice on the coursera platform, is this notice related to the bug we are facing?
