Error with Week 1 quiz: Doesn't open, and just loads forever

I failed Quiz 1 on the first attempt, and now cannot redo it. I have already finished the entire course, all the quizzes and assignments, but cannot re-do this particular quiz. I tried clearing the cache, different browsers, different PCs as well as the mobile app, all having the same issue.

Would appreciate any suggestions

Did you get a passing score the first time you took the quiz?

After you complete a course, you no longer have access to the graded quizzes and assignments.

No, I did not, and I simply moved forward to other assignments. But now this is the only task remaining for me to finish the course, and it is not opening. I believe the issue is with the Coursera platform and none of the suggested methods in the Help Center (i.e. clearing cache, trying a different browser) did help either.

That’s what the Help Center always suggests first. It is rarely useful advice.

Is your course subscription still valid?

I’m able to view the quiz, it loaded OK after I got a warning that the quiz was updated since my last visit.

Next check that your computer’s time zone is set correctly.

The update to the quiz grader was that you now have a running clock while the quiz is open in your browser. You have to submit the quiz before the timer expires (50 minutes for this quiz).

However, a few students have recently had issues with the quizzes loading. The fix is usually to convince Coursera that they need to look into your account and fix some setting that has gone awry. We don’t know exactly what they’re doing to fix this.

The difficulty is in convincing the Help Center that the problem isn’t with your browser cookies, and that you need their help to fix it.

I have the same problem in Neural neworks course. The deadline is on 3 days from today. i tried several times but it keeps loading and won’t open.

@TMosh Yes, the subscription is valid for 1 more week. The time zones both, on my PC and in the settings of Coursera are correct.
I reached out to support, and indeed their suggestion was to try different browsers and clear the cache, even though I explicitly mentioned in my message to the support team that I did clean the cache, and tried different browsers, including the Coursera mobile app…
