Cannot start lab for Week 1 Assignment: Troubleshooting Database Connectivity on AWS

I tried starting the lab for the Week 1 Assignment:
Troubleshooting Database Connectivity on AWS, the AWS status goes from red to yellow then back to red, thought this was an internet issue but I have done multiple speed tests and my internet works fine. I am not using a VPN so I am confused why this issue is coming up.

I saw in previous topic that a user also had a similar issue and a form was sent to fill, I tried going through with the form but at the final page of the form, where you will select the lab with issues, I couldn’t find this exact lab I am working on.

I’m facing the same issue. I click start lab and it goes from yellow back to red.

Yes there seems to be an issue with lab not starting. Could you complete this form. Choose Vocareum interface and the lab you have the issue, thanks:

Submitted the form. Will wait 2 days and try again. In the meantime, I’ll continue on with next week’s material and hopefully those will work.

@anchitr, I reported it to staff as well. Yes please continue I checked the assignment next week and seems to be working. Hope it helps

@Georgios Thanks for checking! I was able to start the W2A1 without any issues, though it did require me to log out and then try again once. After that, no problems.

Hello @damolavictor the issue impacted many labs and it is being worked on. I will give an update when we have an estimate it will be resolved, thanks

Unfortunately, we discovered an issue with the database setup (due to version deprecation). This issue impacted this lab and all the labs of course 4. The team is working on fixing the issue. We expect to fix all the issues by January 17. We left a note about it in Coursera. We’ll keep you updated. Thank you for your patience! Apologies for any inconvenience!
