I would like to enquire if this course/specialization is going to change soon? as i can delay starting it if this has to change which i heard about.
i would rather take mathematics for ML first and then should go for it. need some advice.

I don’t think this course/specialization will change. The maths remains the same.
thanks for confirming.
Does it cover transformers as well? @saifkhanengr
Yes it does by the end of the specialization!
Yes, Transformers and Attention Models are covered in Course 5 of DLS (Sequence Models).
The other suggestion I would have is that you might be better off just starting DLS Course 1 and see how you do with the math. The one real prerequisite for math is that you need to be very comfortable with basic Linear Algebra: you don’t need to know anything as sophisticated as what an eigenvalue is, but you need to be very familiar with vectors, matrices and algebraic operations on them. E.g. dot products, matrix multiply, transpose and that level of knowledge.
You don’t really need calculus to understand DLS. Professor Ng explains everything from an intuitive standpoint and just gives you the relevant formulas that are derived from calculus. Of course it helps to have some background, but it’s only required when you want to ask why the back propagation formulas work out the way they do.
@paulinpaloalto Thank you so much for the detailed information around it.
