Good day everyone, I have just come across an AI application named DEEPNUDE. It is an app that uses to undress women with very high accuracy, which will be difficult for someone to say it’s fake. I am just worried now. Will our mothers and sisters feel safe with these? How would they feel if they felt victims? With bad-minded developers, will AI not be misused? Will it really bring more good than harm? Is there a need for an urgent regulatory body? What should be the solution?

It seems to me this should be regulated under the ‘unacceptable’ category of the EU AI Act, an idea that may be taken over by the US Congress (as became clear during the recent discussion in the Senate hearings on AI).

Late to the party, this wouldn’t fly in the UK. A new law was passed to prosecute entities producing such deep fakes Government cracks down on ‘deepfakes’ creation - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)
