[Discussion] is chatGPT a breakthrough to AGI

I want to discuss about week 1 video: Is there a path to AGI? It is interesting to hear Dr. Ng discusses about his opinion on AGI.
I just want to ask is chatGPT a breakthrough to AGI? Why I say this because when I come across chatGPT the first time. I really feel that chatGPT can understand my question and knows what I want to ask. It really feels a human, already not so smart.

Yann LeCunn has a paper about his vision for AGI called JEPA https://openreview.net/pdf?id=BZ5a1r-kVsf

Francois Chollet has the ARC Challenges for generalization https://arxiv.org/pdf/1911.01547.pdf

The chat bots are very good at generating a sequence of words that have a low error rate based on the data they were trained on.

My personal opinion, that is not the same as having intelligence.

So, chatGPT still doesn’t belong to AGI, rather than it is still a ANI? May I clarify?
