Thank you for your reply, the coursera team was able to help me out.
Hi Richard. If you’re already charged but can’t access C3 to C4, please DM me the email you’re using for coursera so we can resolve the issue. The courses will be maintained until October 23. Thanks!
Hi, I enrolled in the specialization before the 8th of May and have finished courses 1, 2, and 3 and almost finished Course 4, but in course 4, week 3 and week 4, graded labs are inaccessible. The labs were accessible today till 2:30 PM (IST) but after 3 PM (IST) it shows I need to upgrade to submit, but when I click on upgrade, it shows me I am already enrolled. I would still like to finish my specialization by today, as today marks the end of my specialization(In the Payments section, it is mentioned that I can earn the certificate by 14th May); I will be required to submit my Coursera specialization certificate to my university for credits. Please help me to gain back the access
Same here!
I have got a similar problem as @maeggy . Since yesterday, when I try to submit the assignment for the second week of course 2 I get the same error message. Does this have anything to do with the changes to the course? How can I still complete it?
Hi. Please contact Learner Support (instructions here ) because this seems to be an account related issue. Thanks!
Hi. Kindly refer to this answer. Hope it helps. Thanks.
Hi there, I am already enrolled in the course and wrote Coursera support to get help with resetting the deadline because I do not see that option like I do usually. I was trying to submit C2W1 assignment.
I got this reply from them:
“I was able to see that this course was already closed and there is no upcoming schedules or available schedules that we can move you in. I apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for understanding.”
Is there anything else I can do about it?
Hi Neli. Please DM me the email you’re using for Coursera. Also let me know if you’re subscribed to the Specialization or just this course. Thanks!
While I think it is unfortunate that this course is being closed and I missed the cutoff date-- An improved version would of course could be better–
However @chris.favila, I do have one piece of advice/input-- Given that this has been one of the ‘core specializations’-- Unlike the myriad of new ‘short courses’-- It is my deepest hope that, as with the MLS and DLS and GANS specializations, that DL.AI remain ‘platform agnostic’ in their presentation of the material.
I mean in DLS and GANS we, eventually, end up using software by major players such as TF and Pytorch-- but these are both widely accepted in the industry, but more importantly free and open source pieces of software.
Whereas the trend in the ‘short courses’ seems to be-- ‘Hey, learn the newest most shiny thing and how to do it ! (*Disclaimer: Using our closed, proprietary platform that at higher tiers is not free)’.
I mean, great if you just want to get ‘up and running’, but also many of these are given by startups which, who knows will be around in 5 years ?
In any case one thing I’ve really like about DL.AI’s courses is their broad approach and willingness to teach towards the underlying methods and theory-- Not locking you into someone’s proprietary platform.
And I greatly hope this tradition and emphasis continues with the update of this specialization as well as the addition of others.
Hi Anthony, and thank you very much for your feedback! I will bring this up to the team when I get the chance.
I’d also like to remind that only courses 2 to 4 are closed. Course 1 will remain open as a standalone course and it follows the principles you mentioned. The concepts that Andrew teaches there are highly transferrable to whatever platform you choose. I am not sure if this Specialization will be updated.
Hi. What is exactly the solutions for error on summiting the assignment for course 2 (C2W1_Assignment) of the ML Engineering for Production Specialization?
Should I continue with the materials of the fallowing weeks?
Hi Juan. Kindly refer to the marked solution for this post. It’s at the top of this thread. You can also refer to the yellow highlighted posts as you scroll up. I think all point to the same solution. Thanks.
Hi @chris.favila
Can you please tell whom to put in CC while filling out the contact support form?
I think that’s optional so you can leave it blank. You can also put one of your other emails if you want to see how it looks like when delivered.
Hello,
I enrolled in the MLOps specialization in early April and have already completed about 80% of the first two courses, for which I paid. To proceed further with the specialiation, I applied for financial aid on April 28, 2024, which was before the May 8th deadline as advised.
Course approved the financial aid for my courses so I successfully made a payment for ‘Machine Learning in Production’ and ‘Machine Learning Data Lifecycle in Production’ course but payment links for the other two courses, like ‘Machine Learning Modeling Pipelines in Production’ and 'Deploying Machine Learning Models in Production, are not working.
This situation is quite concerning for me, as I enrolled in the MLOps specialization in early April and have already completed about 80% of the first two courses, for which I paid. Being unable to complete the remaining two courses due to this unexpected change is frustrating and disrupts my learning path significantly.
Is there any possibility that would allow me to complete the specialization?
Hi Sai. Sorry to hear that. Have you tried reaching out to Coursera (instructions here) about this? They should have access to those information in your account. If they are not helpful, just let me know via DM what response you got, along with the email you’re using for Coursera, and we’ll see what we can do. Thanks.
Hello. I enrolled in the course Machine Learning Data Lifecycle in Production, as part of the Machine Learning Engineering for Production (MLOps) specialization. I get similar issue when I try to submit the programming assignment for the first week. Sometimes it doesn’t show the submit button, and sometimes it gives the error that could not find the corresponding course or something like that. What’s going on?! Btw, I enrolled on May 6th, so before closing the specialization.
Hi, and welcome to the Forum! Please refer to the marked solution for this topic. It’s at the top of the thread. Thanks.
