Error Starting Week 2 Lab - your account is still in cleanup

I am unable to start AWS Lab. When I click on StartLab it shows “your account is still in cleanup“

I am facing this problem in week 2 lab. Please help.

How much time have you been waiting? It takes some time after the first opening!

I have waited for more than 30 minutes. Just now I tried logging out and then logging in again, attempted to start lab, it’s not showing account is still in cleanup error anymore but its taking forever. It has been more than 10 minutes but it still wouldn’t start. Faced the issue yesterday too and I had to give up after waiting for a very long time.

Hi. The form Gent posted above is for a different issue and not course-related.

If you’re getting the account cleanup message, you need to fill out this form instead as mentioned in point 8 of the Course FAQ.

However, if you’re not getting that message anymore and you see the AWS button turn yellow, please wait for it to turn green. Please refer to point 4 of the FAQ above for more details.

Thank you, Chris. I thought that’s the right one (didnt have time to check it to be honest), but there are a few around. Now I know which one is the right one!
