I am not stating you might have got the latest assignment copy or not, but efforts needs to be from both sides.

Probably you have got the latest copy as you are stating it is 3 month ago.

Anyway now refer your old copy and check where is difference and where you have done mistakes.

Open the assignment page, do you see the codes empty?

Ok you are good to go, you can re-do the assignment. Please make sure only to write codes in between ###START AND END CODE HERE###

Also do not edit any other cells.

i tried everything as you instructed ma’am. but still i get the same error. i realized that new file still has three arguments passed when invoking the modified function (graded function). imo it cannot be the updated file as i have to update the arguments in function invoke.

Did you update the w3_unittest.py file?

You would need to delete it (using the File menu), and then use “Help → Get latest version” to get a new copy.

Then restart the kernel and run all of the cells again.

Did you not delete all files in this section??

If not please repeat the process which you did, and make sure this time when you click file==open=== select all files and delete.

Or at least follow what Tom states you to do so.

Yes, it could be.

But reviewing the history of this thread, I think there is a good chance there is an obsolete file somewhere.
