Failed to start kernel: AccessDeniedException

As mentioned in “Follow the lab instructions of in Week 1 lab
Generative AI Use Case: Summarize Dialogue” in step 11. Follow the lab instructions in the Lab_1_summarize_dialogue.ipynb notebook.
When I select the option suggested and submit I get below error.

Failed to launch app [sagemaker-data-science-ml-m5-large-685ada67a98eea46e68c3200c9bf]. AccessDeniedException: User: arn:aws:sts::061950359590:assumed-role/sagemaker-studio-vpc-firewall-us-east-1-sagemaker-execution-role/SageMaker is not authorized to perform: sagemaker:CreateApp on resource: arn:aws:sagemaker:us-east-1:061950359590:app/d-fffpf3pbh2db/sagemaker-user-profile-us-east-1/kernelgateway/sagemaker-data-science-ml-m5-large-685ada67a98eea46e68c3200c9bf with an explicit deny in a service control policy (Context: RequestId: bb90721b-8740-4ac0-aee4-1a39bd99c1a4, TimeStamp: 1706805142.2503657, Date: Thu Feb 1 16:32:22 2024)

Are you still having this issues?

Yeah, tried to launch it many times I got the same error . When I try some different instance like medium, i don’t see any error .

Well is the lab working with the medium choice or it stops?

Hi. It seems you’re selecting ml.m5.large and that will expectedly throw an error. Please check the lab instructions again. Thanks.

Yes you are right. I was selecting ml.m5.large where as i was supposed to select m.m5.2*large.

No it doesnt work with medium as it throws validation error suggesting to select ml.m5.2*large. I was selecting ml.m5.large.
