First course of specialization review

Hello everyone,
I want to review my first course and I’ve completed all 5 courses.
I reset my deadlines and clicked “join session” but now I have access to the videos only and I can’t use quizzes and assignments!
what should I do now?
and even worst all of my saves and assignment has gone!

How long ago was it that you took Course 1? There was a major update to all the courses in April 2021 and it was not possible for them to preserve work from the previous versions of the courses. You can try asking the Coursera Help Center if they can move you back to the old version, but I really don’t think that is possible any more. Sorry, but you needed to do your own saves. As a defensive measure, you should to that in the other 4 courses now to avoid such losses in the future. Do “File → Download (as notebook)” on any that you want to save.

But if you can’t even see the quizzes and assignments, then how do you know that your work is gone? If you are not paying, you can’t see the assignments at all, even if you already completed them.

Hi Paulin, I’ve finished the first course on 15 April 2021.
and this is the image of my profile

I can just see the videos and assignments and quizzes are locked
and again I’ve finished this course on 15 April 2021.

and also those green checkmarks were recently added. because I saw the videos again (it sounds that this course was reset for me) but the quizzes and assignments are locked.
and if I try to upload my answers: this message will be shown;

So what I think this says is that at this point you don’t really know whether your assignments have been reset or not, because you can’t even see them. I forget the exact date in April when the cutover was done. I do not have any experience dealing with the subscription system or how that all works for paying students, so I can’t really give very much advice. It’s my guess that you’ll need to pay for at least one month in order to view the assignments and find out if they are lost or not. You can try talking to the Help Center.

Oh, actually, I’m sorry, I wasn’t reading that screenshot you showed. They are offering you a 7 day free trial. So you can sign up for that and then cancel before they charge your charge card. You’ll have 6 days or so to check your assignments and at least figure out whether they are still there or not.

I asked the help center he said that because I’ve finished the course I can’t have access to the assignment anymore:frowning:
this is really too bad
what should I do now? I really need to review my works

Sorry, I don’t really know the answer here. What the Help Center said sounds wrong to me, but I don’t really know. I think it’s not the issue that you finished the course, but that they published a new version of the course. You can try the 7 day free trial and see if any of your work is there. But if it isn’t, then I think you are out of luck. Sorry.

yes sir you’re right. They didn’t answer me properly.
thanks for your answer.
