I received a mail that I can now access DeepLearning.AI courses for 1-Month free on Coursera but when I clicked the provided link to Coursera, I am still required to make payment. What am I not doing right? Or it’s just DeepLearning.AI toying with me
@iHack I saw this too and was considering it for the DES. I would also be interested in knowing how this works. Perhaps they just delay payment.
The registration method for the “one month free” offer is currently not working. Hopefully Coursera and/or DLAI staff will fix it soon.
i suppose that what they mean by 1 free month is that you pay half the cost for 2 months, or at least is what i can infer from putting a course in the cart and seeing the price slashed in half.
I do not think that is what was intended. “Free month” and “Half-price for two months” are different concepts.
I think the signup interface is simply broken.
Yeah maybe, but the end result would be essentially the same, they won’t release the certificate if you do not pay, even if you finish and pass the tests during the free period. So either you get a free month and pay for the second to get certified or you pay half for two months and get certified. But you’re right, something is wrong because is not even clear you’re gonna be billed half for two months, that was just speculation.
Oh, is this true ?
yes. well it is not hard to get why
Well… I mean if you put in that much effort that you are actually able to pull it off in that amount of time…
If this is the case, the campaign is misleading then. I could just audit the course, but I will miss out on the practical exercises.
no you can do the exercises, the only thing you won’t get is the certificate in the case you manage to finish the course in the trial period.
