There are five courses in DeepLearning.AI. I only want to study one course at the moment but accidentally started studying two courses. I cannot complete the assignments for the second course on time. Will this affect my grades or prevent me from getting a certificate? What should I do?
Thats alright each course is independent from each other no grade carry over, but a make sure you do not pay for both of them at the same time.

Thank you! So I can now focus on my first course. But when I have time to start studying the second course, will the unfinished assignments in this course affect the grading, or can I start the course again and get re-grading?

You can reset the course deadline any time you want, provided that you have a valid subscription. And, if you got financial aid, you can reset course deadline for six months. After that, you have to apply again for aid or purchase a course. Unfinished assignment do not affect the grading if you complete it later.

If you have paid for both courses at the same time, as Gent cautious you, then I suggest to cancel one of the course payment or contact the Coursera staff as describe here. Tell them that you will purchase the second course later.
On the other hand, if you have financial aid for both courses, try to complete them in six months as your financial aid will expire after that period. Though you can apply for financial aid again.
