New to AI, suggest courses to take from zero to Manage AI

I have 20 Years in IT, worked extensively in Data Engineering as Data engineering Manager. I want to learn AI from the ground. What are the prerequisites or courses to cover, to better and effectively understand AI/ML courses next month . I have python coding background. Can anyone suggest clear path?
are mathematics, statistics is pre-req for this? Its been 20 years i learned maths & stats, can you help? Thanks in advance.

The math needs are only that you know the equation of a straight line, and it helps if you can multiply two vectors or matrices (i.e. a smattering of linear algebra). Not totally necessary though, since Andrew is good at giving intuitive lectures on complex topics.

For stats, all you need is mean and standard deviation.

You already have the Python programming requirement covered.

For the basic background in ML, I recommend this sequence:

  • Machine Learning Specialization
  • Deep Learning Specialization
  • Natural Language Processing Specialization

There is a bit of overlap between DLS and NLP, but that’s good because you get two different presentations of the material.

That gets you to the doorstep of the current crop of Generative AI methods.

Appreciate your reply and time taken. Fantastic I will definitely start with adding in training plan. Thanks Tom.
