Total Lab usage minutes exceeded

Hi,

When trying to work on the the Lab for the week 2, I am being greeted with the prompt, “Your total Lab usage time of 2400 minutes has exceeded the total allocated time of 2400.”

Please refer to the image below for the more details.
I have faced issue after the lab failed to start multiple times before.

Please help me resolve this issue.

Hi Saad,

Try to launch the lab again in a few hours, I think what happening here is the AWS servers take the aggregate of all hours in a time period and then they reset again.

Thanks for the response Gent. I have checked it multiple times now in past 48 hours and but I am still getting the same error. Is there anything else I can do get this resolved?

Hi Saad. Were you able to enter the lab before, and you’re only seeing that error now?

Can you elaborate on this statement: “I have faced issue after the lab failed to start multiple times before.”? What error messages/behavior were you seeing then?

Yes, I was able to access the lab before, but I remember leaving my previous session incomplete without submitting my notebook.
By my statement I was trying explain, that this issue was not getting resolved by waiting for a few hours, as I had already tried doing that many times before.

Hi Saad. Just to clarify, how many times were you able to successfully access the lab before? Just once? If so, what error message did you get in the next attempts? Was it already the one shown on your screenshot now or was it something else (before it changed to this one)?

Hi Chris. It must have been more than three times I think. Since the lab takes more than 15 minutes to load after clicking the “start lab” button, there have been 2 instances when I could not return within the lab’s duration window to be able to access the lab.

Also, I think its worth mentioning that just weeks ago I had to re-enroll in this course for another 3 months. I had attempted the week 2 lab during the first enrollment attempt, but didn’t get the chance to get past week 2 when my subcription expired.

Also, this is the only error I have encountered so far.

Hi Saad. You should be able to access the lab now. Please make sure to submit on your next attempt. It might take a while for the initial setup because it is a retake. Kindly review this FAQ for other common concerns. Thanks!
