Unable to open SageMaker Studio

When I click SageMaker Studio, it asked me to create a domain and when I clicked the button, it takes forever and nothing happened. (see screenshot below)

The smart AI in this forum suggested a post reporting similar problem (see below):

Having problems to start sagemaker studio for lab 2: I don’t have the the ‘Get started’ Window with the ‘open studio’ button, instead I shall create a domain. I checked the login, it is the one of the Vocareum. So, now I have lost already 20 minutes for nothing … If I click e.g. on create domain, the circle cursor runs all time. At the beginning I had an InvalidSignatureException about 'signature not yet current: 20230807T141837Z is still later than 20230807T141834Z (… + 5 min.) This issue do…

However I don’t have the InvalidSignatureException error as in the post. The only difference I can notice between what’s in my AWS interface and that of the instructor is that, I was asked to choose to set up SageMaker for single user or for orgamization at the beginning (see below) –

Have you guys tried opening it in incognito browser mode? Let us know how that goes!

I tried to open it in incognito browser mode, and the AWS lab just wouldn’t start. (it’s been yellow for quite a while)

As of now, the AWS lab icon has turned green, and I’m able to start AWS and open Sagemaker studio successfully (in Incognito mode).

Thank you for your answer.
If I open the lab in incognito mode, the platform Vocareum will ask for credentials I don’t have. So, for me, this solution didn’t work, unfortunately. Would you have a suggestion to overcome this issue ?

Besides, today I have a new issue: the lab spends a long time trying to start, and the light is stuck on yellow. This issue is new, it didn’t happen before.

Thank you for your answer, the lab started after 20 minutes, and I am back to the issue where I have to open Sagemaker in incognito mode.

Ok and now Sagemaker studio works and I can finally go to the Lab, I didn’t do anything special and I am not in incognito mode… I am not sure why the issue went away …

The best startegy is always to wait and try again later, it has to do with the AWS gears…

Hi everyone. Sorry I just saw this topic and glad it’s working now! It does take some time for the lab to start sometimes, especially for retakes. Will keep an eye on this and report to our partners if it happens more often. Thank you for bringing it to our attention!
