Unable to start the environment. You don't have required permissions

After starting the lab and clikcing on the green buttoned aws icon in the vocareum environment, I get the following error:

  • Unable to start the environment. You don’t have required permissions. Ask your IAM administrator for access to AWS CloudShell. System error: User: arn:aws:sts::165726982024:assumed-role/voclabs/user2953667=David_Altman is not authorized to perform: cloudshell:CreateEnvironment on resource: arn:aws:cloudshell:us-east-1:165726982024:*

has anyone else seen this? I have filled in a support form as suggested in other topics.

Hi David. This is a new error. Are you still getting this on your next attempt? I hope it’s just temporary. If it persists, please post a screenshot of the window including the error message. Thanks.

Hi David. Seems like you didn’t press Studio as mentioned in the instructions. I don’t think you are allowed to use the AWS Cloud Shell in these labs.
