I completed this course and did that while my trial version of Pro membership is still active but am unable to view/download my certificate to share on my LinkedIn profile. I am attaching screenshots below.
I would have thought being a pro member should allow you to download the certificate (Even if its in a trial period) because the course is available for free even without Pro membership
This is what I thought. I am on trial but still a pro member. I am now worried that once the trial expires, I won’t be able to download my certificate again until I pay for the membership
I believe the intention of the free trial period is that you can access all of the Pro course features, to determine if you want to become a member at the end of your free trial.
During the free trial, you have Pro access, but you are not a Pro member until your fee is paid.
i think what @TMosh is stating is correct during free-trial although you have pro member access, you don’t get access to course certificate. You need to pay subscription to download the certificate.
please check the pointer in pro paid trial which clearly isn’t mentioned in free trial
While some courses are free, which might just include videos and some ungraded labs, they don’t come with a certificate of completion. For that, you need Pro membership, because then you get access to the graded materials (quizzes, assignments, some additional labs).
During the free trial, you have all the features of a Pro member (access to all of the materials of the course and additional benefits). But you cannot access/download your certificate of completion. For that, you need to pay.
Once you pay, you’ll be able to download the certificate. Then it is up to you, if you want to cancel your subscription or continue on to take further courses that are being offered to pro members.
Personally I would rather see all of the information in one document, rather than as separate Forum topics. For me it’s easier to open one document and search for keywords, rather than read the separate Topic titles, and decide which ones might apply to a given question.
