When I open the link for the notebook in browser, I get the overall features of the lab, e.g. the navigation, grades and files tabs. But when I try to open the notebook, it just renders it as a blank page. I tried every option in the help tab (updating the lab, rebooting, etc.) but nothing worked. I even tried the old verison of the lab and it also returns a blank page.
I downloaded the notebook and it works fine on my local machine.
How can I submit my code and continue with the course?

Yes. I am officially a participant of the course. Meaning I have purchased it.
And I know that it’s not common, I tried other notebooks in other courses and they work fine (although with some lag) but this one doesn’t render anything no matter how much I wait for it.
That’s very strange. There’s nothing special about that lab notebook, and it loads as usual when I tested it.
Try de-selecting the “Navigate” tool.
Also try the “Help” tool followed by “Get latest version”.
You might also try the “Reboot server” button there.
Please read my initial statement carefully. I told you I have tried all of the options in the Help tab already. I even tried using the old version.
Interestingly enough, I found out that the new version (currently in use) is actually an addition to the old verison. Meaning that when you want to render a notebook, it sends a requestion to the old version of the jupyter server and everything that’s rendered here, is just a frame linked to the old server.
As you can see in this picture, the whole rendering is done in the old server, so everythin that’s shown is just an <iframe> linked to the old version.
In my case the link to the old server is https://<my-lab-id>.labs.coursera.org/notebooks/C1_W2_Linear_Regression.ipynb
and when I open that link, it just gives me a blank page.
Also I took a peek at the console for the old site, I get a bunch of errors:

These are authentication errors. Why am I getting these errors when I have purchased the course?
Note: I applied to financial aid an then got the course. Can that be the problem?

Since this seems to be specific to your account, please try contacting a Coursera agent (instructions here) so their engineering team can have a look. I don’t know what the problem is with this thing but at least now I can keep going on with the course.

Hi! Sorry I wasn’t able to see this sooner! Glad that it worked! I’m also not sure what is causing the behavior. Hopefully this was just a temporary bug and everything’s working fine now.
