Which course should come before the Advanced Learning Algorithms?

Hello guys. I just started the Advanced Learning Algorithms course on Coursera, but along the line I realized there’s a course that should precede it. I’m trying to locate that course so I can complete it first before moving on to the advanced one, but I haven’t been able to find it. Can someone please help me with that?

Hey there.

There is the “Machine Learning Specialization” on Coursera which contains 3 courses:

  1. Supervised Machine Learning: Regression and Classification
  2. Advanced Learning Algorithms
  3. Unsupervised Learning, Recommenders, Reinforcement Learning

So it seems that the course that you are looking for is the first course of the specialization.

Hey, before you start the advanced learning algorithms course on Coursera, its better to first do the Supervised machine learning: regression and classification course because it teaches the basics concepts you need to understand and the advanced topics.
