@chris.favila I think this is the same issues as the last one I tagged you!
Hello,
I have exactly the same issue and so I can not finish my lab. Is it possible to reset the lab access in order to finish it ?
EDIT : I already filled the form
Hi Imad. Kindly check item 10 of this FAQ. That error message shows that you are using a different instance type:
Failed to launch app [datascience-1-0-ml-m5-8xlarge-d94d3e7b23fb420a963b6f7a6446]
Please check that you are selecting what is mentioned in the notebook instructions. Hope this helps.
I am used to with AWS and can differentiate between instances, it not giving access for the one which can only used i.e 8cpu and 32gb
Now Workbench is not accessible and it keeps loading…
Hi Imad. I believe the lab instructions mention ml.m5.2xlarge
but the error message posted above indicates ml.m5.8xlarge
. There might be a misclick (or maybe just a glitch in the UI). I just did the lab yesterday and it worked with ml.m5.2xlarge
as mentioned in the instructions.
As for the other issue, if you mean it takes a while to go to the AWS Console, it takes a while to load the environment for retakes. It usually takes around 20 minutes (as mentioned in the instructions) but can sometimes reach up to 30 minutes.
