I paid for Pro membership last week. While I was in the middle of a course over the weekend, the system reverted me to the non-Pro member, and my certificates and course status are gone. I’ve submitted a ticket with no update so far. Appreciated if someone can look at it. Thanks!
Hi. Sorry to hear that. May I know when you submitted the ticket?
One possible cause here is you may have used a different email for login and payment. Please try logging in with other emails you may have used for the platform. One of them might have your progress saved.
Hi Chris, the ticket was submitted on Sunday Feb 1st. The problem might have to do with the email address. During the course there was a link to the forum on some notes, and it didn’t take my original email address and password that I used for the membership. It seemed a bit weird that the platform doesn’t use SSO between the two. So, I registered the community using a different email. Since the problem occurred, I have tried both email addresses to no avail.
I just tried again using my gmail which I may have registered with earlier but not the one used and paid for the Pro member, and I see the learning status there. Again, it is odd because when I logged in to learn it was not the gmail. Is there anyway that all my learning status and certificates can be moved back to where it should be (the email for Pro member) or maybe on both? Thanks!
Hi. Can you submit a new ticket about this in the learning platform (or add to the old one if that’s possible)? Please be as detailed as you can so they can understand the situation. You can reply to this thread if you don’t get a response in three working days. I assume this is a less urgent concern because you already have your learning progress back. But let me know otherwise. Thanks.
Thanks Chris for looking at the issue and for your advice. I’ve submitted another ticket with as much details as I can remember. I think overall the system is too smart and can mess up the records when the same person has two accounts using two differet email addresses. The fact that the learning platform and the forum have to use separated accounts and the interaction between the two add up the complexity.
