I’m a beginner and a college student I want to pursue a carer in AI and ML. I required some guidance and a roadmap for my future journey in ML and AI. Apart from that, please share some best python and ML books with me. My email: is abubakarsaddiq001199@gmail.com
Hey @Abubakar_Saddiq,
Welcome, and we are glad that you could be a part of our community As to “guidance”, can you please elaborate regarding what aspect, do you need it in particular, like for programming, for mathematics, etc. For the “roadmap”, you will find multiple existing posts in the community. Let me mention some of them here for your reference:
- How to become an All-Knowing AI and ML expert?
- Check out Section C, Links 1, 2 and 3 for this thread
Let us know if this helps.
Cheers,
Elemento
Hello @Elemento,
I feel comfortable in math because most of the time I feel straightforward with a math concept, but the real problem for me is programming. I do study but it’s not easy sometime to manage a little challenging code. That’s my concern how to fix that?
By the way, thank you so much for taking your precious time.
Hi @Abubakar_Saddiq,
actually, several students reported that they struggled with programming. Here is a quite recent thread about it: AI and coding Beginner needing help!
Bottom line: An excellent way to learn python from scratch is to get started with this course: https://www.coursera.org/specializations/python
Hope that helps. Please let me know what you think!
Best regards
Christian
Thank You so much for such probably your support shall wort while.
Hi Christian,
I complete the mathematics and ML specialization courses from DeepLearning.AI. In which sequence should I cover these courses? Deep Learning Specialization, Natural Language Processing, Tensorflow Developer Professional Certificate, and MLOPS specialization. Please let me know the sequence in this course to follow.
thank you
Congrats! Hope you had a good learning experience. Way to go!
After all this depends on your goals and interest, see also this thread: How to become an AI Engineer - #4 by Christian_Simonis
One of our mentors @saifkhanengr published a nice outline on LinkedIn how a possible course sequence can look like: check out this post !
In this post the Deeplearning specialization is mentioned as a possible next step after the ML specialization. This totally makes sense from my point of view! That being said, many fellow learners (>1 Million already) went for this proposed and quite popular Deeplearning specialization: Deep Learning Specialization - DeepLearning.AI
I would suggest to check it out and evaluate if this specialization and the content suits your plans, interests and also fits the field of your profession where you are working right now or your future job goals.
Best regards
Christian
thank you so much that’s really helped me out.
Glad to hear that. Good luck and enjoy your learning journey, @Abubakar_Saddiq!
Best regards
