Week 3 Lab - No Open Launcher

I had no issues in week2 & 3 for labs but now at week 3 it shows a different UI once I launch Studio. There is no OpenLauncher button and I cannot get to the System Terminal. On top left of the screen there are 6 Application Icons and I selected “Studio Classic” and tried to create a workspace as I read in another post having similar issue. I just receive this error: ValidationException: Unable to create Space [arn:aws:sagemaker:us-east-1:088222849064:space/d-b5llkjralgfg/GenAiWeek3Lab] because DefaultSpaceSettings does not exist for Domain [arn:aws:sagemaker:us-east-1:088222849064:domain/d-b5llkjralgfg].

How to move forward? I need to complete the course and this is blocking me.

Lab-2 issue with sagemaker studio

I am trying to run LAb-2 of Week-2 and facing issues in sagemaker studio. The window that opens up is not as same as that mentioned in the lab content. I do not have any pop-ups or vpn enabled. Things were right the night before, however when i started the aws lab today, the window is different and i can no longer see ‘OPEN LAUNCHER’ button. I am stuck with the lab. Can someone help. I managed to find a solution.

1. First you need to start the Studio Classics (one of the 6 Apps on top left in new UI).
2. Once in Studio Classic you will have to start the env/lab listed (there is just one for the lab).
3. Wait a bit because it takes 1-2 min. At that point you will get a “Run” button
4. Hit “Run” and you will finally get to the screen with the launcher and the button to start the terminal.
5. All good after that.
