A connection to the notebook server could not be established

notebooks are not able to connect to a kernel for any of my programming excercies , what could be the problem?.

This is most likely some kind of IT problem on your side. It could be A/V software on your computer or a firewall in your local area network, but something is blocking the TCP connection to the “kernel” in the AWS Cloud.

It’s not really possible for us to solve your IT problems for you. We can only suggest where to look for the problem. If your current computer is on a work or school network, you could try using a laptop or tablet from a different network, e.g. a public WiFi network, and see if that makes any difference.
