C2-W1 assignment

I am struggling with questions 3 and 4. I have used # grade-up-to-here for my work for questions 1 and 2 and I get full marks for that part, however, when I move # grade-up-to-here to the end of question 3 it says I get zero, including for questions 1 and 2. I and 2 were done and correct, so how does testing a bit further on, somehow undo that?

Hello @Kris1 and Welcome to Deep Learning community.
I don’t really know what might be the problem, but try grading your entire notebook and see whether it will work

I did and got 0% even though grading questions 1 and 2 by themselves gave me a total of 50%. Not sure what to do as I have spent hours on this project and can’t get 3 onwards to work - and the inconsistency with the grading for questions 1 and 2 seems to make it impossible to pass. I have never had these issues with any other Coursera math type projects.

Hello @Isaak_Kamau I am not actually familiar with this course’s notebooks.

No problem @gent.spah
@Kris1 please try out these other solutions: Help! My code is correct, but the grader gives me 0 points! - Course 1 Version

Hi @Kris1!

Unless I get to touch your notebook, I can’t say anything for sure, but what might be happening is that something you’ve done between questions 2 and 3 (including question 3 itself) that it is preventing the code to compile. If you leave any line of code that wouldn’t run in your notebok, it will break the grader because of the way it is being done right now.

So please be sure that everything runs fine until quesiton 3. If the problem persists, you can send me your notebook ID in a private message, so I may have a closer look on it.

Thanks for flagging me in this issue, @Isaak_Kamau!

Hello, I have done all the exercise and passed upon submission in course_2_W_1, but I am not very confident about all the steps taken and the flying around of renaming and updating of arrays in the exercises.
I feel the problem information was overwhelming for me at most stages and sometimes I just had to insert a variable somewhere not because I know it will work, but luck and most did.
Is it normal or I need to relook at some other things to perfect my understanding before proceeding to next courses and exercises? thanks
