Hi, and welcome to the community! This might be a temporary bug. If it persists on your next attempt, please send me your AWS account ID. It’s on the upper right of the AWS Console when you launch it from Vocareum. Will forward it to our engineer for checking. Also, by any chance, are you using a company laptop or connecting to a network at your workplace? Sometimes that causes bugs that we cannot reproduce. It’s best to work on the labs with a personal device. Thank you!
Hi Chris,
it says Account still in cleanup now since over an hour. I have filled out the form again.
Hi @chris.favila ! I am having the same issues, tried different browsers and computers, still the same issue. Was like this yesterday and today. Can you please take a look? No SageMaker Domain exists

Hi @chris.favila, I’m having the same issue. Yesterday it worked when I launched the lab for the first time. On subsequent attempts since yesterday, I’m seeing the screen that @Tanay2 has reported above. I’ve tried with and without VPN.
My user id is user2956784.
Hi Sanjog, @Tanay2 , and @joelo . Sorry to hear that. If you tried on a personal device (i.e. not a company-issued laptop) on a network without VPN, please direct message me your student AWS account ID. It’s a 12-digit number on the upper right of the AWS Console when you launch it from the Vocareum lab instructions. Will forward it to our engineer for checking. Thanks!

Hi - I am having trouble with the week 2 lab. I launch the AWS console and navigate to Sagemaker Studio, but then only see a “Create Domain” option, and not “Open Studio”.
Hi everyone! Thank you for reporting the issue with Sagemaker. I’ve forwarded it to our engineer earlier today so it can be resolved asap. Please monitor this topic for updates. Will post here as soon as I get them. Thank you and sorry for the inconvenience!

Hello - I was working on the week 1 lab and the 2 hours limit was over. So, I had to restart the lab. It turned green again. Now, I can login but can not see any ‘open profile’ option. Instead, I can see
. How can I fix this? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!
What worked for me:
- sign out of console.
- wait for 2+ hours so your vocareum env is closed.
- open vocareum again and start the lab. - it should take you 10+ minutes.
If your lab opens immediately - something is wrong.
I am having issues with both lab1 and lab2. The Sagemaker domain is not initialized and student account doesn’t have privilege to create one. Having this issue for past 3 days. Wasted lot of time. Please fix asap.
Hi @chris.favila I am facing the same issue as reported by @Tanay2, @joelo, @Abhi_Ar . I direct message my AWS Account ID to you. Please let me know when this issue is fixed. I face it with both Lab1 and Lab2. I faced this issue for past 3 days as well
Hi @Maksym_Lytvynenko I tried this one and did not work for me. Did this work for any one else?
Hi everyone! Just a quick update. We reported this to our partners, and we’re still waiting for their findings. Will let you know as soon as it’s fixed. Thank you!
This didn’t work for me either.
I’m facing the same issue as well
Same here, on both labs. This is very frustrating and quite disappointing given it’s a paid course and one of the most important differences wrt the free version is lab access
Please be patient.
This is an Amazon AWS problem, which is out of DLAI’s control.
They seem to have fixed it. It’s working for me now.
Its still the same for me Waiting for it to be fixed before lab due date.
yeah very annoying
